What is the International Business Management program?

Students will become familiar with political, economic, social, and linguistic concepts involved in doing business on the global level. Programs provide opportunities for students to gain skills in leadership, written and spoken communication, analysis, and technology.

What can I do with this course of study?

Students may qualify for jobs in government, global firms, private businesses, and nonprofit organizations, where they can expect to work in fields such as international transportation, trade, global supply chain management, technology, or international marketing. Here are some common jobs: 

  • Exporting and importing specialists 
  • Management analysts

  • Logistics or supply chain professionals

What will I learn?

Coursework covers business strategies, industry research, and technologies used in the field. Program goals include developing an understanding of global corporate approaches, business complications, and national environmental differences, such as those in economics
